my speech about sloths

Hi my name is Taylor. Today I am going talk to you about sloths. I am going to tell you about they are, what they look like, what they eat and where they live. I will also tell you some facts about them.

First I’m going to tell you about what sloths are. Sloths are a mammal.  They have long legs and chocolate colourd fur on their backs and on the front there is white.

What do sloths look like? Sloths look very funny but they are very very talanted mammals. They have a lot of fur on their body. Sloths have small heads and big eyes. Sloths have a big black nose, they all have diffrent coloured eyes but you can not see the colour. Sloths can weigh up to 40 pounds and they can grow to 50-60 centimetres long.

What do sloths eat? Sloths eat dry food like leaves, bud bugs, twigs, dried fruit and insects. They eat a lot and a lot of food. Sloths hunt for their own food, they do not wait for food to come to them.

Where do sloths live? Sloths are related to ant eaters and pydmuesis, only found on one small island on the coast of Panama in South America. They would be surrounded by the island. Sloths also  live in jungles and rainforests. They like trees with branches on it and they love sleeping on trees. Sloths also roamed North America and became extinct around 10,000 years ago.

Now I’m going to share some interesting facts about sloths with you. Did you know that sloths only poop once a week? Sloths are also great swimmers. They can live up to 40 years old. Sloths also spent most of their day sleeping and eating. Sloths have a green algae growing on them that helps them camouflage in the trees.

Now that I’ve told you all about sloths, I hope you learned something new. Thank you for listening.

Clock tower writing

One day there were two happy people living in a big long stalky clock tower house with balloons going in to the sky. The girl was having a lovely time dancing in the Clocktower. Suddenly there was a random witch that came out of nowhere. "AHHH!!!!" she yelled out. "A witch a witch is trying to curse me come and help me please quickly quickly before she starts to curse me more and more.  Some stranger came and knocked on the door and kept knocking after 19 minutes the stranger got so frustrated  that he kicked the door down and sprinted up the creaky stairs he wanted to be like a spy.
The stranger  wanted to creep up the stairs and see what was going on in the clocktower he saw the witch trying to curse the little girl so the stranger sneaks up to the witch and grabs its neck and flips the witch over out the window and said to the little girl are you all right is anything hurting the stranger said the little girl said my Arma no leg feel really sore and I can not move my arm or leg.
The stranger helped the little girl up and carried her down to the car and took the little girl to hospital and the stranger ask do you live any one she said no I don't . The stranger said would you like to live with me. So the little girl said yes I would love to come and live with you. Thank you very much I would like to have some one in the house with me in case that happens again but you are here to save me and you can defend me and you can stop people staying to curse me or anything that is not cool.
So then that lived happily ever after living in an clock tower and getting cursed

Six

There was a boy called Six. Six lived in a little village. His family were the only people who lived in the village,  he has not seen anyone else except from his family. He was pretty lonely.

For the past six days he had been eating junk food such as six lollies on the first day. He drank six sodas on the second day. He ate six cookies on the third day and he drunk six cokes and ate six donuts on the next two days.

Six felt really sick and he threw up in the toilet. His tummy felt like it was getting ripped out by a gigantic bear that has really sharp claws.  In the toilet there were some letters saying ‘Do not eat junk food, you should only eat fruit or healthy food instead of eating just junk food’.

Six learnt a lesson about not having too much junk food, otherwise he will be very sick and it will not be very fun. He would have to stay home and run to the toilet.

Then Six ate healthy things so he did not get sick.  He started eating fruit and healthy things like kumara, carrot, cucumber and other healthy things.
